Very limited edition 1st press black vinyl version of the Saint Tropez Orchestra album, cut at Timmion and released by our friends from Detroit, Funk Night Records.

The vinyl mostly sold out worldwide on pre-order and is already commanding collector's prices on Discogs, etc. We've got a number of copies here in France, and if you can stand the crazy French postal prices (please don't get us started on La Poste!) you could secure a copy before they're gone for good. If we get more, we will put them on the site.

The album was never originally meant to see a vinyl release, as it had been commissioned by a library music company, so it would have remained digital-only if Funk Night hadn't stepped up. We love them!

Don't miss out on these as we really don't have many left at all now. And they're strictly two LPs per order, maximum, as that's the limit of how many we can package together before the shipping costs and customs stuff gets out of hand, so it's two per order to qualify for the no extra shipping cost deal. Anybody who tries to buy more than two in one go will have their orders cancelled. I mean, we love yers but we're not gonna entertain you if you try and take the piss, so play nice folks :)

(ps: don't forget to include your phone number with the order, as La Poste require it for the tracked delivery. AND - Very Important - ***PLEASE*** let us know if you want the LP shipped outside its sleeve to avoid possible seam splits during shipping. It's already happened more than once, and there's nothing we can do about it other than remove the vinyl from the sleeve BEFORE packaging it for shipping. After that it's up to the gods. We wouldn't have chosen to have them factory sealed in the first place, for this very reason. SO, we can and will do it for you, but let us know at point of purchase, send us a message or email, we're happy to do this for you because we do want you to receive the LP + sleeve in best condition, but what happens during shipping is beyond our control. Once they're shipped, that's it. You know the score and the choice is yours. Cheers!)

The 2nd pressing of the Saint Tropez Orchestra LP is a super limited, 200-only, purple vinyl variant. Exclusive to Europe, and we managed to get some! But not many, and there's very few of these left elsewhere. We still have a few black 1st pressings available too, maybe a similar amount to these. But the purple edition is a one-time-only affair...

Shipping is 'signed for' from the South of France, so please don't forget to include a telephone number for you, as La Poste request it at point of posting.

**DON'T FORGET** - These LPs come shrinkwrapped from the factory and are mint / sealed. A couple of our customers have reported seam splits to the sleeves where the vinyl has sliced through them, even with our super tough €2 each mailers. So, to avoid this happening we CAN slit the shrinkwrap for you and package the vinyl outside the sleeve but you HAVE to send a message requesting this when paying, so we know to do this for you. Otherwise we'll send the LPs out still sealed and you can choose to pray to the shipping gods that the vinyl doesn't split the LP sleeve, or not. It's no problem for us to separate the vinyl from the sleeve for you, but the choice is yours, okay.

Excellent French library music / soundtracks album from Saint Tropez Orchestra.

Originally commissioned by a well-known British library music company, Dime is lucky to have the license to press a very limited number of CDs, with the vinyl option now being licensed to our friends Funk Night Records in Detroit, USA, We now have limited stock of the first pressing of the vinyl LPs and will to make them available soon.

Recorded at Studio Des Fontaines in just 25 hours and using the very Hammond organ owned by a former member of one of the house bands at the Zoom Zoom nightclub in Saint Tropez (which almost certainly would have been used onstage for such icons as Brigitte Bardot, Michel Polnareff, Jacques Dutronc, Serge Gainsbourg, Jane Birkin, etc) this album is all killer, no filler.

Inspired by the classic library music sounds of 1968-75 (think The Mohawks, or even Booker T & The MG's on acid) this is the kind of collection that crate diggers, rare library fiends, and psychedelic funk fans dream of finding in some dusty old store somewhere for a dollar!

The album itself is stuffed with the kind of heavy drum-and-percussion breaks that b-boys and girls go nuts for, and the sort of sample source material that producers are constantly searching for.

Dime have very few CD copies remaining of this so if it hits your spot, don't sleep on this. And we'll have the vinyl for sale as soon as our 12" mailers arrive!

The black vinyl version will be limited edition, and the purple vinyl second pressing even more limited still, and copies should be available in stores worldwide, but in what quantities per country, we've no idea. All we do know is: it's a masterpiece and you need it.
