Limited edition remastered 12" vinyl LP version of the "Casio City Rockers" album, cut at Timmion and released on our good friends Funk Night label, straight outta Detroit, USA.

We don't have a ton of these and we're selling them cheaper than you will find anywhere else. If you're based in France then buying from us is a no brainer. Outside of France we can ship 2 x LPs together for £31.50, signed for delivery, but larger quantities bump the price up considerably and give us extra customs headaches to deal with, depending on where you're based. We can also do 1 copy of this and 1 of the Saint Tropez Orchestra LPs together, for instance, but orders of more than two LPs per package will be automatically cancelled. We love yers and we know you'll understand ;)

Btw, If you are in the US, the UK, or Japan, we urge you to please buy the album directly from Funk Night as the shipping will almost certainly be cheaper than buying from us here in France. Likewise if you see it in a store in the US, UK, Japan, or wherever, get it while you can as there's only 250 of these worldwide. Funk Night have always been super good guys with us and they've done a brilliant job with the vinyl on this one, so if you're closer to them than us then please support them directly if you can!

**ONE LAST VERY IMPORTANT THING** - the LPs came to us all factory sealed, and so they are Mint condition. However, with previous factory sealed LPs we have had a couple of buyers contact us to say the vinyl had split a sleeve seam open during shipping. It can, and does happen, even with our super tough €2 mailers. SO, we can remove the LP from the sleeve for you but we'll ONLY do this if you ask us first. We'd prefer that the LPs weren't shrinkwrapped to avoid this happening but it wasn't our decision to seal them in the first place. So - PLEASE ASK US FIRST if you want the LP removed from the sleeve before shipping to avoid seam splits and we'll totally do it for you. Otherwise... you know the score, it's in the hands of the record shipping gods and it's your risk, okay. Obviously we want you to receive all our items in the condition they leave our office, but sleeve splits during the shipping of a sealed LP are beyond our control. We simply can't guarantee they'll arrive with all seams intact if you want it 'still sealed'. We may be able to fly like a byrd or ride winged horses or fuck supermodels with our eyes closed but we're not magicians :)

It's like a mini vinyl version of the album that DJs and vinyl fiends can get into, and it's super rare.

It also comes with a hand-drawn insert that's signed by the artist. Don't miss out on this, we have very few copies and Wonderfulsound might have already shipped all their copies. It's a beauty!

Due to the low numbers we have in stock, they are strictly one per person. And yes, sadly, we know the postage is high, but that's La Poste, France's tracked postal service for you. "Casio City Rockers" is a deep dive into the infamous archives of Brother Lee, a.k.a. Lee Skelly. The 19 tracks here are compiled from 4-track cassette machines, Sony Walkmans, dictaphones and mobile phones, and were recorded in home studios, bedrooms, hotel rooms, holiday apartments... basically wherever, whenever and however Lee could record them before he had the chance to forget them.

His cassette archive alone runs to around 600, then there's the numerous carrier bags and boxes of mobile phones, USB keys and dictaphone tapes scattered around his remote French home, all full of either completed songs or scraps of melody or song sketches, and played on whatever instrument was nearest to hand. Not being particularly sentimental or nostalgic, it's rare for Lee to look over his shoulder for this kind of stuff.

So, imagine "Money Mark's Keyboard Repair" filtered though a Syd Barrett lens, or if Daniel Johnston had been fixated on Shuggie Otis and peak-70s Stevie Wonder instead of The Beatles. Everything here may be slightly broken but it works perfectly if you get what I mean. From the funky Clavinet workouts of "Baroque Neck Brace" and "Wah Wah" to the dead-on-'67 sitar-and-backwards-guitar psychedelia of "It's All Around" to the Afrobeat-inspired "Super Capri Beat" and the bonkers Casio-goes-Acid House title track, even the breezy lo-fi soul pop of "Turquoise" and "Bossa For Ingrid", this album is a wild ride. Don't miss it."
