What is "Seroquellograms"?

"Seroquellograms" is the 4th solo album from Lee Skelly (aka Brother Lee) to be released in 20 months. Recorded to tape at two sessions in Paris and Limoux, France, this is another slice of the wonky psychedelic folk that Lee often captures late at night when not making experimental funk records with Inner Space Quartet or doing soundtrack work or DJ-ing for Soho Radio.

The album opens with a field recording of the alarm siren from the psychiatric hospital in Limoux and it closes with squalling wah-wah guitars at the edge of feedback. What happens in between alternates from hymn-like hushed meditations, warped psych-folk, sitar-flecked acoustic pop and fuzzed up midnight freakouts.

What comes next is anyone's guess.
