  In 2010 London's cult funk outfit The Peas cut two tracks for a 7" single as a follow up to their 2006 cult heavy funk 45 "Gettin' Some".
  
  Recorded on a Tascam 8-track cassette portastudio that originally belonged to Marco Nelson (The Young Disciples, Paul Weller, Primal Scream, etc) and mixed at the legendary Steamrooms on the Isle Of Wight with the help of The Bees' Paul Butler and Aaron Fletcher, "Psychedelic Cissy" and "Flying High" were intended as a 7" for an indie label ( it's probably best not to name them 😂 ) but the label turned out to be a bit sketchy, plus they behaved like a bag of dicks, so the 7" never came out.
  
  Which was a shame, but other cool stuff happened and now, if you're quick, and for the price of a croissant from your favourite patisserie, you can have these two rocking slices of Meters-inspired, Hammond organ fueled heavy funk from The Peas tape vaults. 😎
