(Note: 6" singles play on most manual turntables and portables, although they are not suitable for some automatic turntables. These play fine (and sound great) on our Vestax Handy Trax and Numark portables for instance, but do check your turntables instruction manual before purchase to be on the safe side. We have seen videos of DJs playing the previous Dime Records lathe cuts on Technics decks during live sets so we know they play fine on those too.)

"ep 2" is the new EP from the Northern genius that is Atlas Mother. Notorious for his DIY analog synth building skills, his circuit-bending adventures and sonic experimentation, this collection of 6 tracks perfectly showcases his particular talent for creating noirish, haunted, grainy electronic soundscapes.

Often sounding like the soundtracks to lost 1970's Public Information Films, with sun-bleached short wave radio snippets and field recordings filtering through, these 6 aural Polaroids will transport you to Atlas Mother's island of sound and will no doubt appeal to fans of, say, Boards Of Canada, Aphex Twin, Broadcast, etc.
