Solo album by Brother Lee (aka Lee Skelly from Discodor, The Prescriptions, The Peas, Inner Space Quartet, Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra, etc).

Recorded at home on a Tascam 244 cassette recorder with a Radio Shack microphone and his wife's guitar and piano after being discharged from psychiatric care in Brighton, England.

15 tracks were recorded in a single day in September 2020, most of them first takes. Then 11 were overdubbed and mixed the following month, shortly before he left the country. This album is the first collection of Lee singing his own songs since The Prescriptions "Psychedelicatessen" LP in 1993, and sees him venturing back out to more prolific territory.

4/5 star review from SHINDIG! Magazine:

"Multi-instrumentalist Lee Skelly has an unquestionable musical pedigree as one-half of cinematic instrumentalists Discodor as well as through his work with the likes of Shawn Lee and 77:78. For this solo project under his Brother Lee moniker he's taken a musical left turn into singer-songwriter territory to produce 11 tunes that tug at the heart-strings with their lo-fi charm.

Opener 'Special One' sets the scene perfectly, blending its acoustic strum with Mellotron strings and flourishes of melodica with a vocal performance that's equal parts melancholy and joy. From there on in there's a wealth of delights to enjoy, whether on the dreamy, pastoral leanings of 'Instrumental #1', the lo-fi country pop of 'Hang On To Your Halo' or the brilliant Velvet Underground leanings of 'Sleeping So Long'. Highlight for this writer is 'Dream Of A Dream', a wonky and melodic blend of guitar and electric piano." - Paul Osborne, 2021
